Hopefully we will catch up later in the year. – Thank you for your understanding

This month the Emu
Gallery opens its ‘Winter
Art Exhibition’ featuring the works of the twenty five artists in this art
collective. Following the success of the two previous exhibitions this
exhibition promises to be another selection of diverse and interesting
works. The photographs of two new
artists to join the group will highlight the diversity of the art works
available from the gallery which vary to include watercolour, oil paintings,
printmaking, pottery, sculpture and mosaics.
Cox joined the Emu Park Gallery in 2018 and has been a regular exhibitor for
the last 9 months. His spectacular work reflects his love of landscape and
nature photography, as seen in his animal photographs, which he has observed on
his many trips to Africa. Simon is an
accomplished digital photographer a skill he has used in the production of
magazines, catalogues, flyers and show books.
Simon has travelled throughout the world in his photographic
work but is now settled in Zilzie. He is a foundation member of the Keppel Coast
camera club and a member of the Rockhampton Photography Club.
The latest member of the Emu Park Gallery is
Alan Barker, an internationally known photographer, who teaches and leads
photography tours throughout Australia
and the world. As a professional photographer, he
has had the pleasure in working with and co-leading workshops with other
professional photographers from the United States, New Zealand and Australia; catering to a wide range
“I believe that photography is a source of
personal inspiration and expression, where each image crafted holds an

(Aug 2018) Yes it is true that the beautiful Art Gallery building has been sold. A decision was made to draw the curtain on the Gallery and our last day of public operation will be Sunday the 1st of September.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS… The Art Gallery and its members are, and will continue to grow and thrive into the future. “We” have a bright future and contingency plans are being made.
WE ARE GETTING A NEW GALLERY … We hope to be in our brand new Gallery in August 2020, but intend to keep operating as a Gallery in the meantime. As they say “Watch this space”
RE OUR WORKSHOPS…. 2019 is going to be big for Art Workshops from the Gallery. These will be advertised soon. We have suitable venues to hold all upcoming workshops.
Please spread the word should you hear that the Emu Park Gallery group is closing…. We are all alive and well and as creative and enthusiastic as ever.
We will continue to keep you all up to date with us going forward into ‘our’ future.
