This sculpture workshop introduces participants to Bronze Casting using polystyrene foam. Students will carve/model a small sculpture in polystyrene foam, which will then be packed into a dampened sand box. Molten Bronze will then be poured into the mould and left to cool. When dismantled the sculpture will be cleaned and chased.
If you are interested in this workshop but can’t make it, or you are interested in future artistic workshops presented by Emu Park Art Gallery then just call Barb on 0407640711 and register your expression of interest.
This month the Emu

exhibition promises to be another selection of diverse and interesting
works. The photographs of two new
artists to join the group will highlight the diversity of the art works
available from the gallery which vary to include watercolour, oil paintings,
printmaking, pottery, sculpture and mosaics.

(Aug 2018) Yes it is true that the beautiful Art Gallery building has been sold. A decision was made to draw the curtain on the Gallery and our last day of public operation will be Sunday the 1st of September.
BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS… The Art Gallery and its members are, and will continue to grow and thrive into the future. “We” have a bright future and contingency plans are being made.
WE ARE GETTING A NEW GALLERY … We hope to be in our brand new Gallery in August 2020, but intend to keep operating as a Gallery in the meantime. As they say “Watch this space”
RE OUR WORKSHOPS…. 2019 is going to be big for Art Workshops from the Gallery. These will be advertised soon. We have suitable venues to hold all upcoming workshops.
Please spread the word should you hear that the Emu Park Gallery group is closing…. We are all alive and well and as creative and enthusiastic as ever.
We will continue to keep you all up to date with us going forward into ‘our’ future.
